Common Mistakes

Avoid cliches and company jargon
Do not leave gaps in your career history as these create suspicion. Briefly explain any breaks / gaps as honestly as possible
Avoid using gimmicks or tricks to get the readers attention as these tend to annoy, rather than interest, a hiring manager
Keep information in the third person. Try to avoid "I" ,"we" etc
Do not send a photograph or unnecessary attachments at this stage
Use strong English and avoid spelling mistakes / poor grammar as these will almost certainly count against you
Don`t include things that are not true!
